This is supported by the scholarly article by Cross Ogohi Danie titled “Effects of Job Stress on Employees Performance,” which investigates the effects of stress on employee performance (Daniel, 2019, p. 377). The second point focuses on the contribution of elevated stress to employee burnout. The negative implications of stress on employee well-being and performance have been supported by credible evidence and opposing viewpoints have been addressed and discredited. It is clear that organizational efforts are needed to mitigate the adverse effects of workplace stress on employees.
